CSCS Online Training
Wealden Skills Centre is an official test delivery centre for the CSSC test. CSCS accreditation proves to employers that potential workers meet a minimum level of health & safety awareness before going on site.
`Testing
Testing is available daily from 7am. Candidates need to book at least seven days in advance and need to provide:
Full name
Date of Birth
Home address (with postcode)
National Insurance number
Candidates are advised to study the CITB Questions & Answers Health & Safety Test book in advance of taking the test. Copies are available from Wealden Skills Centre.
The test is 45 minutes long and we advise candidates to arrive at least five minutes before the start of the test. You will be asked to provide proof of identity, both photographic and signature.
At the end of the test you will be given a print-out of the result. Candidates who have passed need to complete an application form to apply for their CSCS card and send it to Construction Skills with a copy of the print-out, a passport-sized photograph and the appropriate fee.
Training
We also deliver an optional three hour training session which covers the essential elements of health & safety on construction sites and offers participants the opportunity to discuss related issues with the trainer.
The session will be based around the CITN Questions and Answers Health & Safety Test book which it is recommended all candidates study prior to taking the test. Immediately after the training, the participants can complete the online test.
Refresher training courses are run once a month, usually an afternoon, and are a simple way to help employees sharpen their knowledge and bolster confidence prior to taking the online test.
The half day session costs £95 per candidate, plus the test fee of £17.50.
