Abrasive Wheels Training
This training session teaches delegates how to change, set and use abrasive wheel equipment safely and correctly.
Participants complete a short theory session before working on a one-to-one basis with the trainer. If they wish, they can bring with them any hand-held tools they use regularly so that the training can be made specific to their needs.
The Health & Safety at Work legislation requires that all operators of any kind of equipment that requires the changing of cutting or grinding wheels or discs, to be a certified abrasive wheel setter. The duty is for the employer to ensure that members of the workforce are suitably qualified.
